[1000mp] FT1000MP SUB RX audio on RTTY/PKT sockets

Goetz:

Use the AF OUT stereo fixed-level audio outputs on the rear panel for your
RX audio. The jack provides 200 mV fixed level at 600 ohms for both audio
channels, but the source impedance is very low, so it is not a good idea to
tie the two outputs directly together. Feed them in stereo to your sound
card or chip and combine them either by setting your card to mono, if
possible, or by using a resistive combiner at the card outputs. Or you can
resistively sum them at the card input and use one channel.

Be aware that, in DUAL mode, the the two audio channels are not infinitely
separable in your headphones; if you are listening to a very weak DX station
and the pileup is loud, residual pileup audio leakage can degrade your copy
on the DX unless you leave DUAL mode to completely remove the sub-audio. On
most signals, however, your balance control will allow you the receive
flexibility you seek without any additional action.
