[1000mp] Two strange things...

Hello All,
our contest team bought a FT1000MP Mk5 and I tested it for a while: it
is a great radio and we like it very much!
I found two strange things that I don't know if can be changed or not (maybe
I must RTFM better...):
1) If I switch to TX the radio using the CAT, when I send the first CW sign
the radio switches to RX. Is there any parameter that I can change to solve
this issue or I must connect also the PTT output of the PC to the PTT input
of the radio? (I can't use the VOX)
2) If I listen in CW with the SSB filter (NOR bandwidth), I found that the
radio inserts automatically a low pass audio filter with a cutoff frequency
of about 1500-2000Hz. I don't like this solution because, if there is a
strong CW signal inside the IF bandwidth but outside the audio bandwith, it
is not audible but it "pumps" the AGC, is it possible to exclude this audio
low pass filter?
Thanks and best regards
