Me, too, but let's NOT let it get too far, such as "ARRL is good" vs "ARRL
is evil." And one word about Morse code testing other than related to
keying waveforms and I am outa' here!

Those who want to learn more about how ARRL does its tests can see the
following:

http://www.arrl.org/members-only/prodrev/testproc.pdf (1.5 MB file). (If
anyone is an overseas ham who is a member of his/her IARU society, or a
manufacturer, email me and I can send you the file if you cannot download
it. Anyone who recently joined ARRL (or intends to join soon), or who is a
member, but never registered on the ARRL member-only page can do the same.)

and the "Look Behind the Scenes" and "Lab Notes" articles from:

http://www.arrl.org/tis/info/rigbuy.html

I would love to do lots more testing of the rigs, but unfortunately, this
has to be a cost-vs-benefit decision, both in terms of the staff-time costs
to test the radios and in terms of the calendar-time cost of trying to get
the rig reviewed as quickly as possible.
