[1000mp] Is this filter combination possible in a "stock" FT 1000 MP?

The soldered filters are in the 2nd IF. Examine the photo of the filter
array on page 100 of the FT1000MO Operating Manual (your page number may be
slightly different) and it should be clear which filters are soldered and
which are not. The 3rd IF filter positions are all snap-in, and it is the
3rd IF I refer to.
There was just recently a discussion of the relative difficulty and merits
of replacing the soldered filters. That requires removal of the RF board.
Some owners have done this and found it worthwhile; I decided to leave those
filters as they are, although I have no doubt that having Inrad 400 Hz
filters in both IF's would be noticeably better in an extremely crowded
contest situation.
