Hi Christian;
That combination is similar to what I have in my MP. It works well. Only
difference is that u will have 1.8 for ssb I have 2.0, and ur sub-rcvr will
have 400 and mine has 500. I think I wud do it the same way if I had to do
it over agn except that I wud try the Inrad filters. The general consensus
is that Inrad have steeper skirts and let less noise in from the sides.
They may also be higher Q and thus let more signal in at the passband.
Which are u planning to buy...Inrad or Yaesu?
It is tax time here so am busy and depressed...hi. No radio for the past
few days. Nothing to work anyway...hi. But...the good news is that the
qsls are still coming in. Yesterday saw 5 band countries confirmed! Still
almost 300 cards out though...so still running with anticipation to the
mailbox every day...hi.
Getting the tower stuff together so I hope to have it up by next winter. I
am learning a lot as am doing everything right this time. Expensive! Do u
want to come over and help us? Good beaches and that kind of thing here as
well as EA6...hi. So...let me know on the filters...73/dx
