Hi, Billy,
The QST Product Review editor is Joe Bottilglieri, [email protected]. He
welcomes member feedback on the content of Reviews.
The ARRL Lab test engineer is Mike Tracy, [email protected]. He welcomes any
and all discussion about how to improve the tests.
(Keep in mind that the ARRL Lab staff have been at it for a while, so the
test methodology is sound. It is always a tough balance between the testing
we would like to do and the amount of time it takes to do all that testing.
When I started in the ARRL Lab, it took about a day and a half to test most
HF transceivers. Over the years, the Lab has expanded that to require about
a full week of test time. There has to be a limit somewhere. :-)).
