Subject: [1000mp] SWR meter follows voice peaks even with 1:1 match
I noticed that on my Mark V, when using the tune
button on the FH-1 remote pad to key the transmitter
(75W full-scale) or keying the transmitter in CW,
(200W full-scale) the SWR scale shows a 1:1 match.
When transmitting in SSB, I noticed that the SWR
scale indicates 1:1 to 1:8 following voice peaks.
Is this normal?
Thanks,
W2UV
