It also might be worthwhile to note that there is an article somewhere on
the web that states that with the 70mhz IF mod, the close in blocking
dynamic range and close in 3rd ord dynamic range deteriorate by about 10 db.
What you might gain in hiss reduction you may lose in receiver dynamic range
performance.

I just installed the InRad 70MHzIF mod in my FT1000mp MarkV Field.
Its straight forward, you need to solder 2 pins to get power to the 70MHzIF
board.
It took longer to remove the covers from the radio than it did to do the
mod.
