Hello Yaesu Fans:

Well, I took a minute to check the d3 and d5 curves....I can't say you can
easily read them, but the BLF 147 produces it's best quality quality at 90
watts PEP, 3rd order, with -45 db, and at 200 watts, it has degraded to
about - 26 db....the 5th order shows a lesser degradation, but significant
never the less....

You also may recall there is much debate regarding the two tone method of
producing these ratings....many believe that reality is far
worse.....So......
Why would you run the Mark V at more than 300 watts pep output??....The
numbers are pretty clear from Philips.....If you want the PDF files, drop me
a line, so that I can send them......

Happy DXing and 73,
