[1000mp] Typical Setting for Menu item 9.1?

Hello all,
my Tech Supplement - bought Decemeber 1995 - says + 8dBu,
so my guess is the +11 refers to later (how much later?)
editionsof the Supplement resp. FT1000MP models.
