[1000mp] Just one more filter question

The 1000MP DOES use the 2.4kHz filters for SSB transmission... I know 'cause
I tried to change the 2.4kHz BW stock filters to 1.8kHz, with resulting
horrible transmit audio.
The rig uses the filters in the 2.4kHz slots when transmitting SSB,
regardless of which receive filters are selected.

No, you are incorrect. Transmit doesn't use those receive filters.
