[1000mp] mp display?

As long as the display works, true, it's not a big deal - what is a big deal
is when the display takes minutes (up to 10 minutes that I've seen reported
to the group), and some that quit all together...with nary a word from
Yaesu, except "we'll fix it if you pay for it....it's not a common
problem..."  That's outright bull.

It's obviously a quality control or manufacturing error and should have been
addressed by Yaesu under warranty - instead they gave us 'Sgt. Schultz
Routine' ("I know nothiiiiiinnnnggg") and let the Yaesu consumer pay for
their mistakes.

How many units have to be defective before the manufacture can be held
responsible for sending out flawed radios?
