Coming on late, or starting dim and taking a few seconds to get up to full
speed?  The latter seems to be normal.  I had an episode the other day
where the display seemed not to be going to come on at all (this was after
a rather chaotic shutdown caused by a power failure), but after 5 seconds
or so it was suddenly there again.  I hope it's not a bad sign, and that
the delay was just a function of the microprocessors resetting themselves.
