I thought I did see a post earlier today from Pete smith with a Eudora 3
solution?  Possibly it was not for the light version?  Eudora is now at
version 5.1 and I fully expect they have made many improvements.

|The new host has doubled the size of the posts I receive, and with my
|old-fashioned mail program (Eudora 3.05, which I really like), the first
|screen I am now presented with consists of preamble and headers. I have to
|scroll down a bit to see any of the text in the message.

|I have also never seen the sense of sending automatic replies to the entire
|list. Many of the posts are directed to individuals, but I have to download
|and  see them anyway. Particularly as there is often a flurry of responses
|to a new list member who has asked an oft-covered question. And check the
|number of replies to the guy who asked about 'Nrod' that we ALL got. Nice
|that we were able to help him, but how much bandwidth did that take?

|The combination of the above has moved me to make a hard decision.
|I don't expect the list manager to change the world for me, a humble
|barefoot ham. So I'll bow out for now. And I'll keep a close watch on
|VA3CR's website.
